Why source custom packaging in China
If your products are made in China, producing the packaging there is the only setup that makes sense: the box meets the product in the same warehouse, you avoid importing empty cartons, and the packaging supplier is a short drive from our quality control team. Shenzhen and the surrounding Pearl River Delta host most of China’s printing and packaging industry, which means short lead times and a wide choice of materials and finishes.
The other reason is cost. A rigid magnetic box or a custom foam insert produced in China typically costs a fraction of the same item ordered domestically, which is what makes a premium unboxing affordable at ecommerce margins. One of our cosmetics clients added $0.80 of packaging per unit and saved about $6,000 a month in breakage.

Minimum order quantities
| Item | MOQ (units) |
|---|---|
| Mailer boxes and folding cartons | From 500 to 1,000 |
| Rigid boxes | From 500 |
| Poly mailers | From 1,000 to 3,000 |
| Printed extras (cards, stickers) | From 500 to 1,000 |
Minimums are per design, not per order: once produced, the packaging sits in our warehouse and is drawn down order by order, so a 1,000-unit run can cover months of fulfillment for a small brand.
Lead times
Indicative lead time per stage, in days. Mass production starts after you approve the printed sample.
Finished packaging is delivered to our Shenzhen warehouse and plugged straight into your fulfillment flow. Your first branded order can ship the day the packaging arrives.
How it works
Packaging that pays for itself
The right question is not "how much does the box cost" but "what does the box save or earn". Protective packaging cuts breakage, refunds and bad reviews; premium packaging lifts perceived value and average order value. Two of our case studies show both effects with real numbers. If you are building a brand rather than reselling a listing, packaging is the first place to start, and our private label service takes it from there.
